Vladimir Jean-Gilles is the co-host of Ottawa’s hip-hop morning show, The Morning Shift, and a film and hip-hop writer at SHIFTER magazine. Joining SHIFTER in 2015, Vlad has emerged as one of the leading film critics and radio commentators on culture in the capital region. He is currently the weekly film critic at CBC Radio, a certified Rotten Tomatoes film critic, and a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association. He is also a freelance writer and is currently working on his first book.
