GREG CAMPBELL
REAL ESTATE COMMENTATOR, PODCASTER
AND MUSICIAN
Greg Campbell is a man who is hard to label or put in a box. By day, he’s a father, husband, and realtor at Blue Panda realty, Ottawa’s fastest growing boutique real estate brokerage. As the host of the Ottawa Real Estate Podcast, he’s an increasingly sought after commentator on real estate trends in the capital, sharing his insights on a growing number of platforms.
By night, he’s the founder of BIGSTUFF Productions, a music production, recording and publishing company dedicated to working with a multitude of artists, spanning Hip-Hop to Rock, Pop, Electronic and Country.
Known mostly as a musician in his own right, he’s affectionately remembered as a member of the Juno-nominated hip-hop group Organized Rhyme alongside actor and comedian, Tom Green, winning a Much Music Video Award for Video of the Year in 1992. Along the way they became the first Canadian hip-hop acts to land a major record deal when they signed with A&M Records, and since then he has seen his music featured on major platforms, from film to television.
After experiencing the pinnacle of industry success in Canada, Greg dropped out of the TV broadcasting program at Algonquin College and packed his car, moving to Vancouver where he operated a small recording studio, working with musical legends like Ice-T, Nate Dogg and Kurupt. He would eventually eclipse his earlier underground success with Organized Rhyme, performing with and producing for the female rap duo StinkMitt, with CBC broadcaster George Stroumboulopoulos even proclaiming, “Forget the Beatles – StinkMitt is the greatest band ever.”
He returned to Ottawa in 2006 and set his sights on another highly competitive industry - real estate. After working with his mother at Coldwell Banker Rhodes & Company, he decided to branch out, joining the Blue Panda team in 2017, opening the Orleans office in 2019. While he recently became a partner at the company, for Greg, he prefers to spend his time on his two true passions - helping families find the house of their dreams and making music.
Today, Greg continues to balance his job as a realtor with his passion of working with a growing roster of Ottawa artists, lending his years of experience in the industry, while recording and releasing rap music under the moniker “Mr. Bigstuff”. He’s currently working on a three-song project with his wife Anna called The Comfort Zone, a blend of electronic, hip-hop, R&B and pop music.
