ABOUT KEVIN BOURNE
Kevin Bourne is the CEO and co-founder SHIFTER Agency, a PR, content marketing and communications agency which works with leading businesses, brands and organizations, including the Canadian Association of University Teachers, CHUO 89.1FM, and New Balance Ottawa. Kevin specializes in helping clients communicate with culturally diverse audiences and navigate the sensitive issues of race and diversity. The communications strategist and former political staffer is also a noted freelance journalist and writer for the Ottawa Business Journal, Ottawa Citizen, and ByBlacks, specializing in diversity, inclusion and Black culture, and has appeared nationally on CBC News Network and locally on CTV, CBC Radio, 1310 News, and 580 CFRA.
Doubling as editor-in-chief and columnist at SHIFTER magazine, Kevin is a recognized voice on diversity and inclusion and was recently named to Ottawa Life Magazine's Best of Ottawa: Activists & Changemakers list for 2020.
